Come and check out our new area on the first floor of the Student Union East building. The new location is centrally located in the student lounge area by the cafeteria. It was created as a fully glassed in area to allow for greater interaction with the DJ’s and the student body, faculty and staff at Gulf Coast State College.
The new location has been nicknamed “the fishbowl” by the students and if you stop by to check it out you will understand why! The radio station is a learning lab for the students in the Digital Media program to acquire on-air experience with state-of-the-art radio broadcasting equipment.
The move was completed in 2019 and the new location looks fabulous. If you haven’t seen it yet, I strongly encourage you to stop by and see the new area that will allow our students to get the hands-on experience that is needed in the work marketplace after graduation.
