Starting in August we will be playing Sounds of Summer from songs that are chosen from our listening audience. We want to know what songs remind you of summer. Songs like Good Vibrations by the Beach Boys or Summer Nights by Olivia-Newton John, always remind us of summertime and lazy days!
The songs will be played during the month of August on Wednesdays at 1 p.m. central time. The new summer student DJ’s that come to AlterNation from the Digital Media program here at Gulf Coast State College, will be picking the songs from the lists that the listening audience has provided.
This will help the students to learn the ins and outs of using social media with radio broadcasting to understand audience interaction and listener requests. So please visit the AlterNation’s social media sites and comment on what songs you will like to hear!
